Becoming an Affiliate Marketer - The How and Why

Becoming an affiliate is making the step to go from working for the "man" to being in control of your own destiny.  It is not a MLM or get rich quick scheme.  You won't make millions of dollars overnight.  It takes hard work and effort, but it truly does pay off.  If you are ready to be the only one who decides how much money you make, you should consider becoming an affiliate.

Why would they do this?  Merchants will gladly give you a significant profit for recommending their product(s) and landing them a sale.  And they don't charge you to be an affiliate for their product either.  To them, that is money that they wouldn't have had otherwise.  And the more affiliates they can get to advertise their product, the more money they will make.  So they offer generous commissions in order to draw affiliates to advertise for them.  And I'm glad!

These products are easy to promote.  Most of them will offer an answer to someone who is looking for a solution.  They will gladly buy the product to help fix their problem and you will make money for showing it to them.  How do you do this?  You do it through blogs, articles, or paying for ads on Google.  It is important to find a good affiliate marketing program that will teach you exactly how to market your affiliate products.  There are right ways and wrong ways to advertise and this will make all the difference when it comes to whether or not you succeed.
